Within the 60-credit program, students will enjoy evening and weekend classes that are more flexible for working professionals and other non-traditional returning students. For completion, students must successfully complete an internship in counseling within an approved school setting for 600 hours.

Ph.D. in Counseling

Strongly rooted with a distinctive emphasis on preparing professional counselor educators who will be able to work effectively at the university level with students pursuing their master's degree in counseling, the Ph.D. in Counseling program delivers the required advanced knowledge base that is needed to succeed in the roles of counselor educator, counselor supervisor, and counseling practice director. While the program combines both theoretical and experiential learning for a minimum of 75 hours for completion, all students are given the freedom to choose their curriculum with significant flexibility for developing expertise in a concentrated area.
