Conferences for counseling professionals are organized each year to further practitioners' awareness on the latest changes in America's mental health landscape. Conferences are professional training events that draw counselors together to share the best strategies for resolving clients' troubles. Whether you practice couple, addiction, school, rehabilitation, or vocational counseling, conferences are available across therapy specialties. Attendees typically earn continuing education units (CEUs) that help maintain their NBCC certification and/or state LPC licensure. Therefore, we've selected five counseling conferences occurring in 2017 that should be on your calendar.
