The College of Education and Behavioral Science at Arkansas State University offers a low-cost online Master of Science in College Student Personnel Services. Faculty in the College Student Personnel Services Program bring a depth of academic and professional experience within the field of student affairs and college counseling and are able to offer strong mentoring relationships to graduate students. This flexible online program will be a good fit for students who hope to maintain their current professional and family commitments while working towards a graduate degree. This 36 credit program requires the completion of a practicum experience that can be completed on campus at Arkansas State University or at colleges and universities around the country, students can select a practicum site in the location and department of interest that best meets their personal needs and professional goals.
Courses include: the community college; student personnel services in higher education; college student development; organization and administration of college student personnel services; legal aspects of higher education; multicultural dynamics in higher education; development and advancement in higher education; and assessment, accreditation, accountability in higher education; introduction to statistics and research; philosophies of education; and practicum in college student personnel services.
